Cristian Vogel, composer producer and experimental DJ. Born in Chile (1972), he grew up in the UK and currently lives and works in Barcelona. Cristian has played around the world since 1993, both solo and with Jamie Lidell in Super_Collider. As a studio remixer he has been invited to remix songs from bands such as Radiohead, Maximo Park, Thom Yorke, Juan Atkins, Pedro Carneiro, among others. As a producer his work stands out in albums for artists like Kevin Blechdom, Chicks On Speed, Cafeneon, Panico, Vira ¼ s, Las Perras del Infierno, to name a few. Cristian has participated in dance projects , sonic interventions, and artistic projects of his own as well as in projects with international multimedia artists. His work includes original soundtracks for the Swiss choreographer Gilles Jobine (since 2003), Gessami (2009), sound and visual installations specifically created for Theatre de Arsenic, Lausanne, 'Bulbes' de Artificiel for the Montreal Museum of Contemporary Art (2003), 'A Production of Nothing' by Stefan Bruggeman(2005) ' 1000 beats 1 beat' with Pieter-jan Ginckels (2007), or "Hands" (2008) original soundtrack for Xavi Jose/Sony PSP. In 2008, Ediciones Mínimas published a limited edition audio-book containing his lyrics and poetry "9:09".
